Back in August when we completed our ‘FAB Walking’ challenge, walking from Corby to Sheffield, we managed to raise an incredible £11,365!
We had set an initial (ambitious) target of £5000, but we blew that out of the water.
We couldn’t be prouder of everyone that took part. This challenge was no walk in the park (pardon the pun).
It took serious grit and determination to keep going but we did it with the mentality that we didn’t have a choice. Florence and too many other children up and down the country going through cancer and the challenges of treatment have no choice but to keep on going. So for us, this made the task of putting one foot in front of the other and taking another step forward absolutely nothing in comparison.
We are already thinking about what physical/mental challenge we want to undertake next year- ideas welcome!
